As the summer comes to an end, and I look back over the past couple of months, I must admit part of me is starting to wear a little thin from all of the traveling. From the South of France to Spain to Nashville, New Orleans, Alabama and Italy....there has been little down time in our lives lately.
Delayed planes. Countless hours on trains. An ever climbing Euro. Jetlag. Bathrooms that have yet to join the 21st century. Lost luggage. VISA offices. Aching feet. CDG - the worlds worst airport. Impatient Europeans. Lots of Advil. Even more Ambien. People who've yet to discover antiperspirant. A never ending supply of stomach medicine. Hotels booked for the wrong night. Even worse, two hotels booked for the same night. More jetlag. Absurdly expensive hamburgers. Not to mention, the general miscommunication that has just become a daily part of life.
And then I saw this video and am reminded why we do it.
MOVE from Rick Mereki on Vimeo.
I'm with this guy, MOVE! It's totally worth it.
